How Long Do Eyelash Extensions Last?
As semi-permanent lashes, they can last for a month and beyond.
Typically, lash extensions stay looking good for 2 to 3 weeks, but beyond that, they will gradually fall out as your own lashes are shed naturally. However, with regular infills, your overall lash extensions will last indefinitely.

The Eyelash Growth Cycle
The human upper lid has 90–160 lashes scattered on five to six rows, whereas the lower lid contains 75–80 lashes dispersed in three to four rows.
 Eyelashes go through three distinct phases in their growth cycle: the growth phase (anagen), the degradation phase (catagen) and the resting phase (telogen).Â

The Growth Phase (Anagen)
The Anagen phase lasts for 4 – 6 weeks. The daily growth rate of a lash is 0.12–0.14 mm. Lash extensions attached to this phase of eyelashes will have an uneven look within 2-3 weeks as they gradually grow thicker and longer. Â

The Degradation Phase (Catagen)
This phase lasts around 2 – 3 weeks. It is the phase where the growth of eyelashes stops.
It is the best time to attach lash extensions because the eyelashes have fully grown.

The Resting Phase (Telogen)
It’s the final stage of the lash life cycle. This phase can last up to 3 – 4 months. Following the telogen phase, the lash falls out and the life cycle begins again with a new lash in the anagen phase.
Lash extensions attached to this phase of eyelashes will not be durable since they will fall out quickly.

About Lash Shedding
At the end of every lash’s life cycle, the individual hair sheds, allowing the cycle to begin again. Every hair on your body goes through this cycle - it’s totally natural. On average, a person can lose up to 20% of their natural lashes every two weeks. It just become noticeable when you have lash extensions on your natural lashes.

Seasonal Lash Shedding
Twice a year, autumn and spring, our bodies react to the changing seasons. Our bodies decide it’s time to shed our hair (including our lashes) faster than usual to adjust to the new temperatures as well as the increase or lack of sunshine.
The intense heat of summer may accelerate the lash life cycle, making higher proportion of lashes enter into the resting phase (Telogen). The telogen state in most of them will end around 100 days later, contributing to the noticeable lash shedding in fall.
Don’t worry though, this will only last for one or two lash cycles. You had better schedule for an infill every 2 - 3 weeks to maintain a satisfying look.
